It is a public park, situated on the headland of Pen al Lann, open all year round and hosting remarkable tree species.
From the terrace, wonderful panoramic view over the Bay of Morlaix and the oyster farms.
A treasure hunt for children is available from the Tourist Information Centre.
Originally
On 20th July 1974, Mrs. Jeanne GOUDE, the widow of Mr André CLAUDE, donated this landscaped arboretum which was part of a large estate planted between 1920 and 1940.
Resisting property speculative pressures, this lady wanted to preserve intact and for ever a wooded area on "gorse point".
A unique collection
The park is located on the headland of Pen al Lann, the point of which is a favourite tourist and nature spot. As regards botany, the Claude-Goude park displays an important collection that can be qualified as unique in this part of Brittany.
The diversity and age of the planted species offer one of the most beautiful collections of trees in the region, in a remarkable setting.
On the south side it resembles a Mediterranean garden: arbutus, magnolias, eucalyptus, mimosas, palm trees...
On its northern side, a wooded park with local species. A harmonious mixture of deciduous plants and evergreens
The Château Mézières

Facing south, huge trees and mixed bushes border the pathways that slowly lead to the sea.
The balustered terrace overlooks the Bay : lined with a double hedge of palmtrees, this majestuous architectural piece is the only thing left from what was called the "Château Mézières", which no longer exists.
