On foot, along the coastal paths you can discover inviting panoramic views from Callot island and the Chaise du Curé and from the headlands of Pen al Lann and Cosmeur, whilst marvelling at the shades of the sea and the fluctuations of the tides...

It is an ever-changing sight to enjoy all year round.

Pen al Lann view point

Overlooking the Bay of Morlaix, the Château du Taureau, Louët island with its lighthouse and keeper's house.
In 1898, Pen al Lann headland was a poor moor land, covered with gorse and surrounded by three or four farms. By 1930, Carantec had become a fashionable resort and the tennis courts of "gorse point" attracted renowned artists and sportsmen. From 1950, people from Paris and Brest settled on the headland and urbanization took off in 1970.

Cosmeur headland view point

Magnificent view over the islets of the ornithological reserve. The bay of Morlaix is one of the most beautiful seascapes of North Finistère.
What first catches the eye: the impressive number of rocks, islets and islands sprinkled over the bay. The largest islands form the reserve of the Breton Nature Conservancy "Société pour l'Etude et la Protection de la Nature en Bretagne" (SEPNB). For a long time now, the richness of its underwater flora and fauna and the diversity of its sea beds have given the Bay of Morlaix an international reputation. The avifauna of the islands has been the object of observation since 1824.

Chaise du Curé view point

Situated between the Pors Pol and Kélenn beaches, this spot offers breathtaking views over the Bay of Morlaix to the East and Callot island to the west.
It is said locally that, during World War I, the Priest of Carantec used to come here to read out loud his breviary, seated on the rock that has from then on been called " the Priest's Chair ". The rock can be seen down below.

The North point of Callot island

Guaranteed escape towards the high seas. View over the open sea, from the point of Roscoff to the point of Primel. Viewpoint indicator.

Clouët view point

Panoramic view over Keromnes Golf course and the South side of Pen al Lann headland.
