Shellfish and crustaceans exhibition:

At the beginning March, at the forum. We give you the opportunity during a weekend to soak up the local sea flavours.
The exhibition hosts many professionals: producers, fishermen, oyster-farmers and seaweed collectors but also wine-growers. Sampling of local flavours.
Workshops for children: seaman's knots, origami, drawing,etc.,and conferences on different themes linked to the world of the sea and the environment.

Popular dance and fireworks:

For Bastille Day festivities, popular dance in the town centre and fireworks on Kélenn beach.

Harvest festival:

In August, the Kanerien Sant Karanteg choir invites you to a traditional Breton Mass and to their annual fair at the Kelenn.
Old-style threshing, Breton dancing, food and fest-noz on wooden floor.

Harbour festival:

Mid-August: torchlight procession, brass band and fireworks at the harbour.
Festive atmosphere guaranteed!

Pardon of Notre Dame de Callot:

It takes place on the first Sunday after 15th August. It is one of the most popular pardons of the region gathering several hundreds of pilgrims.
The procession in costumes with magnificent banners leaves from the harbour to celebrate Mass at Notre-Dame-de-Callot's chapel.

Summer painting exhibition:

From 14th July to 15th August, the amateur painters from Carantec and the surrounding area present their works to the public: watercolours, pastels, oil paintings, sculptures.
Rendezvous at the Espace André Jacq.

"Colours of Brittany" contest:

Painting contest followed by an exhibition of the 18 winning works, then by a regional final.
Come and paint or draw during the day event an open work in connection with Carantec's heritage. Free and open to all.

Classical music concerts:

For music lovers, a programme of quality.
All year round, at the church.

Brittany professional painting exhibition:

In December: every year a professional painter is guest of honour, surrounded by many artists.
